outofcharacter<-- i assumed that this was okay, since we are leaving anyway, and no one else is roleplaying. i guess no one else is roleplaying, so i decided just to make a thread, probably the last thread in SW anyway.

Air breathed through a rather large and dark cave, enveloping past a very small pool. The pol consisted of dark, gross, water, droplets falling form the roof of the cave, and onto the floor. The air was darkened, and dusty. This place was getting forgotten, and while many cats had dwelled here, it didn't seem like any place to stay. The forest was dying, and this was probably why this place was so rotten. The water used to be crystal clear, and now, it was like it had been rotting in mouse dung. The air tasted of soot, and decaying trees. The temperature was cold, and ran trickled down onto the coat of an anxious feline, saying goodbye to this place.

This was the place he would miss most, the place he could relax, the last place he remembered ever walking right. Ever since his fall, he hadn't come back here. It was obvious that he came here more than often, and now, this place was doomed. It was annoying to breathe, and it was hard to survive. His rips grazed the rocks as he made his way into the cave, his lithe muscular body skinny form the lack of food. He was a true RiverClan, honest and loyal beyond everything. But he was crippled, with a twisted back leg, that it was very hard to walk on.

Longkit was his name, and agony was his game. He was always stubborn, but now, he felt less wanted. He felt worthless, unwanted, and now as he glared at this place, he wanted to stay. The air meant nothing to him, but this was the place where he had grown, and he had fallen in love with it. How would be survive?

The young cat bristled, limping slowly into the cave. Suddenly, his dark silver tabby fur stood at end, and he let out a hiss. His radiantly green blue eyes gleaming as he heard a sound form above. Like a crackle, rocks thundered. Halfway in the cave, he leaped back, trying to run, he wobbled to a nearby tree. He noticed rocks, falling from the large cave's mouth, and he hissed. His heart beat raced, and he tried to breathe easily, and just hiccuped.

What was happening? His dark green eyes shuddered, and he shut them, lowering himself. His twisted leg ached, and he let out an annoyed mew. He blinked open his eyes, looking up. He noticed that the cave was lined in rocks now, and as he stepped forward, he noticed the pool, splattered around, splashed from side to side. Like a giant raindop, the pool had deceaded.

Longkit shook his head, and sat, aching as he put weight on his leg, he got to his paws, and lied back down, licking his paw, and placing it above his head and onto his long ears in a swipe. The water had left, disappeared, it had dried up completely.

ooc; creamehhh...

The young tortisheshell twitches as she felt someone go past here. She spun around and saw her brother, Longkit. He hadn't noticed her. She sighed sadly as she looked once again at his crippled leg, at his limp, at his pain. She slowly liften a dark colored paw and followed her brother, out of their territory and a little farther away. She followed his heavy limp into a cave, and watched him for a moment. "Longkit." Bluekit whispered, letting him know she was there.

The young she-cat stared aroung the place. Muddy pawprints were on the ground, two sets of large ones and a set of smaller ones. Their scent was stale an unfamiliar. "Longkit...What are you doing here?" she mewed quietly, her blue eyes serveying her brother. She turned and stared down into the water, her reflection perfect against the dark bottom of the pool. her bright blue eyes glowed in the darkness as she looked, once again, at her brother.

I'll never forget my first pawsteps here. Nor my last.

His voice was stale, and he could feel himself sink on his paws. How could this happen? He would miss this place dearly, just like he would miss his family after he grew older. It was hard to know what was going to happen, but through all of this, at least he had Bluekit.

I came too this place everytime I got the chance too, so I could relax, and think to myself. Now, I'll have no place to stay. I keep thinking to myself, why can't I be a rogue? Why can't I have my own territory? Why do I have to try so hard?

Bluekit stared at Longkit in dismay. He was upset. "Oh, Longkit..." she whispered, "I'm sure you'll find someplace special where we go later." She could sense the importance of this place in the young tom's heart. This was strange. This tortie kitten was usually bouncy and hyper, but now she felt older than ever before. She pressed her dark pelt against Longkit's lighter one and let out a rusty but sympathetic purr. "It's a beautiful place." she mewed quietly. "I've never seen it before. but I wish I had. I wish I had known it better. I wish I had experienced this more than once." She closed her eyes and breathed in the gentle scent of the cave. It was soothing, like taking all the worries away.

"Longkit...Do...Do you think our mother is lost forever?" she asked her brother, thinking about Hopefrost. Silentpaw told them about what happened to her, but bluekit was worried that even if Hopefrost was alive, she'd never see her again after the journey. Her lip trembled slightly at the thought of losing her forever. And it seemed like Twilightbrook was gone too. He went off with another she-cat and didn't seem to care for his kits. Her eyes became wet as she thought about it. No mother. No father. Just her and Longkit, Darkkit and Fogkit. But she hardly even knew her other two brothers. She'd played with Longkit. At least he was her friend. Tears suddenly spilled out of her eyes as she remembered that she had only one, but she quickly stemmed the flow.
