Leafpelt did act presumptuous by putting deputy there, as it should be obvious that deputy wasn't open, and it was her responsibility to read the rules and see that she couldn't sign up as deputy. Regardless of the reply she received it was wrong to react to it the way she had. And respect is super important. One of the four YMCA core values.
